Robotics is the biggest trend across the globe and Sarina Russo Entrepreneurs graduate, Chris Kalle, is building a robotics empire based on disrupting the waste management, healthcare industries.
Chris presented his robotic waste management concept at the Australian New Energy and Intelligent Vehicle competition. This invite-only event was held at Swinburne University of Technology and organised by the Australia-China Advanced Materials and Manufacture Association.
Ten teams presented to a panel of 20 judges. R4 Robotics put forward a number of innovative solutions to solve the growing worldwide waste problem using autonomous vehicles and artificial intelligence.
Chris and his team were awarded second place and will be off to China in April on an all-expenses paid trip to five cities for meetings with world class investors for commercialization and partnership opportunities. These investors include the Zhen Fund, Baidu, KPMG and Sequoia Capital.
