Single mum Michelle stitched up a job at Tweed Embroidery Shop after 256 weeks of unemployment after she mentioned she loved craft to her employment consultant Aine.

Aine visited Tweed Embroidery and struck up a conversation with the owner Hayley and asked if she was looking to employ anyone.

Get great staff and wage incentives

Hayley said YES and Aine put Michele forward for a job interview.

Although Michelle lacked many work skills she possessed a wonderful energy, was always immaculate and had such a positive attitude.

With the help of a parent returning to the work wage subsidy, Hayley took a punt and started Michelle off part-time with the aim of becoming a full-time staff member.
