Twenty seven year old Wayne Archer’s no stranger too hard work.

The former Sunshine Coast Labourer was made redundant but displayed a never say die attitude as he pounded the pavement in search of work, literally knocking on dozens of doors.

After handing out over sixty resumes a week, it wasn’t long before work came to Wayne’s World landing himself not one but two jobs in the hidden job market.

Mooloolah Fisheries were impressed when he first walked through their door and offered him an immediate start as a deep fry cook - 10 hours a week with a three month probation.

Then he got called  in for an interview at Alexandra Heads Surf Club to start immediately as a casual for fifteen hours a week. He started work that night.

Wayne says it’s all about persistence and presentation.  He gives credit to the team at Sarina Russo Job Access Maroochydore “It was Sarina Russo’s team that gave me a positive influence and to never, ever feel defeated.”

Wayne told the Maroochydore office that while the redundancy came as a shock, it was Sarina Russo Job Access that empowered him to be more resourceful.
