Poole asks if it is okay to text their boss to inform them that they will not be able to come to work, and Fletcher says that it is not okay, but it is also alright in a sense that both the employee and the employer is aware of what is going on, as the employers have the responsibility to make sure their employees are okay.

She also adds that it is also alright is both parties have agreed that texting is how they would communicate.

Poole asks what are the other challenges for young people who have a modern way of communicating, and Fletcher says that it depends on the workplace they work force, and notes that to be able to operate the internet is also a skill.
