Burmese workers purring at Grant Walker parts

Local Ringwood employer Grant Walker Parts is expanding and Ringwood Employment Consultant, Emma Nilsson, can share some of the credit.

The employer Justin shared with Emma that a key attribute he looked for when employing people is reliability.

So Emma suggested he consider hiring people from the Burmese community.

They are reliable, appreciate being given an opportunity and seldom have drug or mental health problems.

Over the course of this year Justin has had amazing success with our Burmese candidates.

Justin even hired the husband of Sarina Russo Job Access' Ringwood Burmese caseload worker Huai for his Burmese and English language skills with the aim of improving communications and mentoring the group.
