Apprenticeships has provided individuals with hands-on experience, practical skills, and a direct pathway to employment and employers recognise the immense potential of apprenticeships, offering young talents a chance to kickstart their careers and acquire skills that align with industry needs. We have witnessed an influx of employers embracing the transformative impact of apprenticeships and traineeships, and the impact on potential apprentices have been remarkable with employers across diverse sectors signing up eager apprentices, shaping their futures and contributing to a skilled and competent workforce.

Stephen Mudford of electrogroup ACT have been providing our apprentices and trainees with quality employment in the electrotechnology industry. Recently, the electrogroup has taken on three of our apprentices - Darren Scott, Isaac Murray and Teal Penfold. This is in addition to the 90 apprentices they have currently.

Darren a qualified tiler, sought an additional endeavor to push his boundaries. Being passionate about learning, he made the decision to embark on a new venture in the field of electrical work.

Isaac, driven by his deep affection for hands-on work, made a decision to pursue a career in the electrical field as well. His natural inclination towards practical tasks and his eagerness to engage with electrical systems motivated him to embark on this fulfilling journey.

Teal, on the other hand, was embarking on a work experience opportunity when she discovered a deep passion for the electrical field that resonated within her. This sparked a desire to pursue a fulfilling career where she could harness her skills and contribute to the ever-evolving world of electrical systems.

Across the country, like Darren, Isaac and Teal, countless of apprentices are carving their own paths to success, each with their own unique journeys and employers are playing a vital role in this process, fostering a culture of learning, mentorship, and growth. By investing in potential young talents, employers are creating a generation of skills individuals poised to make a difference in their chosen fields.

The success of apprentices benefits businesses and society as a whole. Employers who embrace apprenticeships gain access to a diverse talent pool, fresh perspectives and enthusiastic team members.
